The School-Based Clinician at River Valley Counseling Center provides trauma‑informed mental health assessment and treatment to individuals at schools serviced by RVCC. This role includes developing and adjusting treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The clinician promotes culturally responsive, strengths‑based care while supporting clients through crisis intervention, community referrals, and ongoing therapeutic support.
Education Level - Master’s degree in human services, counseling, clinical psychology or social work
Skills/Abilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, crisis intervention skills, organization skills, attention to detail, computer skills, good customer relation skills, knowledge of legal & ethical issues pertaining to their profession
Years of Experience - 3 years preferred; However, new grads are welcome to apply!
Licensing - LMHC, LMFT, LCSW or LICSW in the state of MA
RVCC offers two types of pay structures!
Salary ranges are based on years of experience, level of education, specialty and licensure/certifications. Additional Compensation for advanced education for qualifying positions.
