Job summary

The Mental Health Technician II at Dayton Children's Hospital provides direct care and support to pediatric patients with emotional, psychiatric, or behavioral conditions under licensed staff. Qualifications

• Associates degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• CPI or crisis intervention training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to patients with emotional, psychiatric, or behavioral conditions.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and assist with daily activities.
• Facilitate group sessions and support treatment plans with the care team.
• Conduct crisis intervention when needed and ensure accurate documentation.
