Dayton Children's Hospital’s Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness seeks a Mental Health Technician II to support pediatric patients with emotional and behavioral needs. The role operates under licensed clinicians to sustain a safe, therapeutic milieu and engage patients in treatment activities.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, routine safety checks, documentation, facilitation of group activities, and collaboration with the treatment team for discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• CPI or crisis intervention training required or expected within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care and support to pediatric patients with emotional, psychiatric, or behavioral conditions.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and assist with activities of daily living and treatment plans.
• Document care, participate in discharge planning, and support crisis intervention and group sessions.
