Dayton Children's is seeking a Mental Health Technician II for the Crisis Center at the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness. This part-time role (24 hours) supports pediatric patients with emotional and behavioral needs under licensed staff supervision, including crisis intervention and group activities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in psychology, social worker, or a related field.
• CPI or other crisis intervention training preferred or required within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to pediatric patients with emotional, psychiatric, or behavioral conditions.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and monitor patient behavior.
• Assist in group sessions and support treatment plans under supervision.
• Complete routine safety checks and documentation per order.
