Dayton Children's Hospital in Ohio seeks a Mental Health Technician II to provide direct care to pediatric patients with emotional or behavioral conditions under licensed staff. You will help maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and support engagement in treatment and daily activities.

Responsibilities include trauma-informed care, routine safety checks, crisis intervention, documentation, group sessions, and collaboration with the treatment team and discharge planning.

Qualificações

• Associates degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• CPI or other crisis intervention training within 90 days of hire is preferred or required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to pediatric patients with emotional, psychiatric, or behavioral conditions under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and promote patient engagement in treatment and daily activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, group sessions, and discharge planning as part of the treatment plan.
• Complete appropriate documentation and collaborate with the treatment team to support discharge planning.
