Job summary

Capella Recovery Center LLC in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN for the day shift on a primary mental health residential unit. You will ensure client safety, administer medications, monitor behavior, and coordinate care in a structured setting.

The ideal candidate offers trauma-informed, patient-centered care and strong clinical judgment, with experience in a residential mental health environment and EMR documentation. Weekend rotations are required for full-time coverage.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Georgia LPN or RN license is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong clinical judgment and crisis management skills.
• Empathetic, professional, and non-judgmental approach to individuals receiving mental health treatment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admissions assessments and ongoing shift evaluations.
• Monitor mental status, mood, behavior, and suicidality; assess stability.
• Administer medications safely and document per MAR.
• Perform safety checks and de-escalation as needed; respond to emergencies.
• Document in EMR accurately; complete incident reports and shift summaries.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and BHTs; provide handoffs.
