Job summary

Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Program Administrator - Mental Health Intake (LPHA required) to provide trauma-informed leadership across Amarillo and the surrounding service area.

The role oversees grants and programs, supervises program managers, and coordinates with clinical directors to ensure high-quality, accessible mental health services. Requires TX LPHA, 4 years supervision, 2 years grant oversight; offers PSLF, low-cost healthcare, retirement match, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• LPHA license in Texas.
• 4 years of supervision experience.
• 2 years of grant oversight experience.
• Experience in the mental health field.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with insurable driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and professional communications using trauma-informed care language.
• Collaborate with clinical directors to improve access to mental health services.
• Oversee and manage multiple grants and programs.
• Directly supervise managers of the programs and provide hands-on leadership.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt supervision approaches.
• Demonstrate grant and contract compliance and customer service skills.
• Communicate with community partners and clients of TPC.
• Evaluate and improve service delivery workflows to meet grant requirements.
• Work with Program Directors, Utilization Management, Data Management, Quality Management and Financial departments.
• Attend to improved access to client services and clinic workflows.
