Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Program Administrator for Mental Health Intake (LPHA required) in Amarillo, TX. This full-time role leads trauma-informed care delivery, supervises program managers, and coordinates multiple grants across the agency and surrounding service area.

The successful candidate will bring TX LPHA credentials, strong supervisory experience, and a track record in grant administration within behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) license and in good standing in Texas.
• 4 years of supervision experience.
• 2 years of grant and grant oversight experience.
• Experience in the mental health field.
• Working knowledge of grant and contract administration.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with insurable driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Employees may be required to utilize personal mobile phones for 2FA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and professional communications using trauma-informed care language.
• Collaborate with clinical directors to improve access to mental health and/or substance use services.
• Oversee and manage multiple grants and programs (Adult Mental Health Intake, Diversion Center, Jail Services, Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, Jail Based Competency Restoration, Outpatient Substance Use Services).
• Directly supervise managers of the above programs and provide hands-on leadership for daily operations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and tailor supervision to each program.
• Demonstrate strong grant/contract compliance and practice management skills.
• Communicate with community partners and clients accessing care.
• Evaluate and improve service delivery workflows to meet grant requirements.

Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Mental Health Intake Program Administrator (1246) (LPHA required) to deliver trauma-informed care, leadership, and guidance to the agency, the employees and its clients across Amarillo and the surrounding service area of the Texas Panhandle. This role is ideal for human services graduates looking to gain direct clinical experience in a supportive, multi-disciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful trauma-informed care language.
• Collaborate with other TPC clinical directors to create and improve access points for people to receive mental health and/or substance use services.
• Oversee and manage multiple grants and programs including Adult Mental Health Intake, Diversion Center, Jail Services, Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, Jail Based Competency Restoration, and Outpatient Substance Use Services.
• Directly supervise managers of the above-mentioned programs and provide hands-on leadership to support daily operations and provide quality services that prioritize client needs.
• Coordinate with diverse multidisciplinary teams and adapt the approach of supervision to fit each individual and program needs.
• Possess strong skills in the areas of grant and contract compliance, practice management, and customer service.
• Communicate with various community partners and the people accessing care through TPC.
• Evaluate and develop efficiencies in service delivery workflows to adhere to various grant requirements.
• Work alongside Program Directors, Utilization Management, Data Management, Quality Management and Financial departments.
• Attend to improved access to client services, resource management and creating clinic work flows that prioritize an excellent clinic experience.
• Adhere to TPC Business Code of Conduct and report concerns when ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised.

Qualifications & Credentials:

• Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) license and in good standing in the state of Texas.

• Working knowledge of grant and contract administration.

Experience Level Tiering:
