Job summary

ncgCARE is seeking a Mental Health Professional to provide case management, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed counseling. You will develop individualized service plans, conduct individual and family therapy, and collaborate with schools, social services, and juvenile justice for cohesive client care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Current QMHP-T (A/C), QMHP-A, QMHP-C, or QMHP-A/C certification, or provisional/full licensure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, timely case records per licensing and Medicaid standards.
• Provide direct crisis intervention and stabilize clients during emergencies.
• Coordinate Individualized Service Plans with input from team and stakeholders.
• Deliver trauma-informed, person-centered interventions.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
• Maintain collaborative communication with school personnel, social services, and juvenile justice representatives.
• Provide case updates and presentations in formal settings (FAPT, IEP, court).
