Job summary

National Counseling Group (NCG), an ncgCARE partner, is seeking a Mental Health Professional to join our team in Belle Haven, VA. You will lead crisis intervention, case management, and therapy services, developing individualized treatment plans to help clients build resilience and achieve goals.

Responsibilities include documenting records per licensing and Medicaid standards, collaborating with school personnel and social services, and providing trauma-informed, individual and family therapy.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with the identified population.
• Licensure/Certification: Current QMHP-T (A/C), QMHP-A, QMHP-C, or QMHP-A/C certification, or provisional/full licensure (e.g., Resident in Counseling, Supervisee, Associate license).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with care teams as needed
• Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
• Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)
