National Counseling Group (NCG) in Virginia seeks a dedicated Mental Health Professional to deliver individual, family, and group therapy, manage crisis situations, and develop personalized service plans for clients. You will support families and schools while adhering to licensing and Medicaid standards.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, client-centered care, collaboration with care teams, and ongoing professional growth within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience working with the identified population.
• QMHP-T (A/C), QMHP-A, QMHP-C, or QMHP-A/C certification, or provisional/full licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with care teams as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.
• Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level).
• Case management and crisis intervention as part of care.
• Develop and present individualized service plans with team input.
• Coordinate with school personnel, social services, and juvenile justice representatives.

Education
