Job summary

Bebashi - Transition to Hope is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our Wellness Center in Philadelphia. The role reports to the Director of Clinical Services and focuses on delivering trauma-informed, culturally competent care to diverse communities.

The position involves collaboration with medical providers, case managers, and prevention specialists, with on-site work and occasional telehealth, supporting a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling.
• Conduct behavioral health assessments and screenings (PHQ-9, GAD-7, ACEs).
• Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans with clients.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally competent therapy for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning.
• Collaborate with medical providers and case managers for integrated care.
• Maintain EMR documentation.
• Facilitate referrals to higher levels of care.
• Engage in case conferences and team huddles.
• Provide staff education on behavioral health topics.
