Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers Inc is seeking a Life Coach to provide direct life-skills coaching, case-management support, and trauma-informed care for residents in a structured residential setting. You will work with the Program Director and clinical staff to support safety, stability, and independence.

Responsibilities include coaching daily living skills, coordinating with partners, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience with trafficking survivors, homelessness, or trauma preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Uphold The Home for Little Wanderers’ standards, policies, and trauma-informed approach.
• Build professional relationships with residents based on individualized goals.
• Provide life-skills coaching for daily routines, relationships, budgeting, employment readiness, education, transportation, and community engagement.
• Support residents in accessing benefits, IDs, health care, behavioral health supports, and housing resources.
• Coordinate with Program Director, Clinical Director, and other providers involved in care and transition planning.
• Assist with intake, orientation, goal planning, safety planning, and progress updates.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation with supervisory guidance as needed.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation including progress notes and referrals.
• Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, trainings, and related meetings.
• Complete other duties to support resident safety, healing, and transition.
