The position involves documentation, meal preparation, medication administration, and guidance in building relationships while promoting wellbeing. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum six months full-time homemaker/CNA-like experience or one year caring for children, elderly, or ill individuals.
• Formal training in nursing arts or as a CNA/Home Health Aide can substitute for the qualifying experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients are where they should be and encourage participation, recording observations in daily progress notes.
• Prepare and serve meals per established menu plans and timelines.
• Accurately prepare, distribute, and document medications per MAR and physician orders.
• Help clients with daily tasks per the Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) plan.
• Teach coping strategies and model appropriate conduct to build relationships.
• Engage clients in social skills activities with peers to reduce isolation.
• Complete routine cleaning and other duties per supervisor directives.
• Finish paperwork before shift ends and report issues to supervisor.
