Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking a Residential Habilitation Specialist to implement in-home training programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will help residents in their own homes or other settings, supporting daily living skills and independence.

A compassionate, patient approach is essential to help participants thrive. The role involves planning goals, documenting progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, some experience with developmentally disabled persons preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop goals and service plans; implement teaching strategies to maximize independence.
• Assist in in-home training for activities of daily living and independent living skills.
• Document progress in progress notes and communicate with the service coordinator and supervisor.
• Provide behavioral interventions when necessary following approved techniques; may involve physical intervention.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; collaborate with other staff across sites; maintain confidentiality.
