Job summary

Alpine Fit PT is seeking a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to provide counseling and support services within the Texas LCDC scope. The role includes screenings, assessments, group facilitation, and referrals for survivors of violence, addressing trauma-informed care.

The LCDC will maintain documentation, participate in on-call coverage, and collaborate with community partners to support recovery and access to resources. This is a full-time on-site position in Pasadena, TX.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) license in the State of Texas.
• One to two years of experience providing substance use counseling and facilitating substance use support groups.
• Understanding of substance use disorders, recovery principles, screening and assessment, service planning, counseling interventions, and relapse prevention.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Provide substance use counseling and related services within LCDC scope.
• Develop individualized service plans and assess client needs.
• Develop and facilitate substance use support groups for clients.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources and treatment programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as required.
