El Paso Center for Children, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to support youth in a 24/7 residential setting.
The LCDC will conduct screenings, provide counseling, and coordinate services to promote safety, stability, and successful transitions for youth and families. The role emphasizes trauma‑informed care, collaboration with schools and community partners, and development of individualized service plans to address substance use, mental health, and education
Qualifications
- Current Texas LCDC license or eligibility is required.
- Experience in youth services and residential settings is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with youth, families, and partner agencies.
Responsabilités
- Provide substance-use counseling and case management to youth.
- Develop and implement ISPs with goals addressing substance use, safety, education, and workforce readiness.
- Coordinate referrals to treatment, medical, and social services, ensuring continuity of care.
