VOA Colorado is seeking a Kitchen Coordinator at Theodora Family Hotel in Denver to prepare, heat, and serve meals for participants from the ANS kitchen, while adhering to VOA and Health Department standards.

The role requires one year of cooking experience, basic math skills, and ServSafe certification or commitment to obtaining it within 3 months. Shift Tue–Sat, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• One year related experience in cooking or similar production facility.
• Ability to read and write, following standardized recipes and production sheets.
• Ability to perform basic kitchen mathematical calculations.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. repeatedly during a daily shift.
• Servsafe certified or ability to acquire food safety certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares precooked meals from the ANS kitchen, ensuring they are heated to the proper serving temperature.
• Plates and serves meals—lunch and dinner—for a high volume of individuals.
• Plates and serves meals with a focus on high quality, ensuring excellent presentation and participant satisfaction.
• Maintains a safe, clean work area and strictly follows proper sanitation policies.
• Orders food and kitchen supplies weekly from the VOA kitchen.
• Direct, train, or assist other kitchen employees, temporary workers, or volunteers as assigned.
