Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado seeks a Center Director for Theodora Family Hotel to oversee daily operations of shelter and grant-per-diem programs. You will ensure staffing, safety, and high-quality services while guiding program development and compliance.

The role requires supervising staff, interns, and volunteers, managing on-call rotations, and fostering collaboration with community partners. Strong leadership and trauma-informed care knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor of Arts degree in human services or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Theodora operations and programming.
• Develop systems to support 24/7 residential operations.
• Oversee intake, housing placement, and case management.
• Monitor program revenue, expenditures, and grant reporting.
• Represent VOA in community partnerships and funder communications.
