Job summary

The SPAN Center is seeking a capable leader to guide the Information and Referral team in Richmond, VA. The role emphasizes a person-centered, trauma-informed approach and proactive collaboration with agency staff and community partners.

You will oversee intake assessment, referrals, and program development while ensuring service quality and compliance with state and federal standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public human service organizations and programs.
• Understanding Inform USA standards and competencies for I&R practitioners.
• Ability to analyze facts, supervise others, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and support to the Information and Referral team.
• Monitor team performance and analyze data for trends using PeerPlace.
• Conduct intake assessments to determine eligibility and service needs.
• Connect clients with services and resources through timely referrals.
