YWCA Seattle King Snohomish in Lynnwood is seeking a Resource Navigator and Rental Assistance Specialist. This full-time, onsite role balances two areas: navigation and rental assistance, guiding families through applications and coordinating with landlords to support housing stability.

The position requires trauma-informed, culturally responsive service, assessing needs, completing coordinated entry assessments, and tracking outcomes in HMIS while collaborating with community partners.

Formación

• Experience in housing navigation, rental assistance, homelessness prevention, case management, or closely related human services work.
• Ability to assess housing needs, explain requirements clearly, build trust with participants, and work effectively with landlords and community partners.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in eligibility review, documentation, data entry, and tracking of assistance funds.

Responsabilidades

• Respond promptly to inquiries and referrals; meet with individuals and families to assess needs, barriers, and service options.
• Complete coordinated entry and other assessments; explain data sharing, obtain consent, and arrange alternatives when needed.
• Develop housing and self-sufficiency plans with participants; connect them with housing, benefits, and community resources.
• Coordinate with landlords and partners to confirm amounts due, payment arrangements, and steps to prevent housing loss.
