Job summary

Just Compassion of East Washington County is seeking an Intake Specialist for the HRSN program. The role focuses on intake screenings, coordinating rental and utility payments, and ensuring a smooth transition to case management while maintaining confidentiality and trauma-informed client engagement.

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, experience with financial documentation, and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor’s in social/human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake screenings and determine eligibility for HRSN program.
• Coordinate rental and utility payments, and document services accurately.
• Explain services, expectations, and next steps to participants clearly.
• Maintain confidential client records in program database.
• Facilitate transition of participants to case management.
• Ensure compliance with program requirements and reporting standards.
• Provide trauma-informed, client-centered support during intake.
