Job summary

YWCA Seattle King Snohomish in Renton, WA is seeking a Mobile Flexible Advocate, Gender Based Violence, to support adult survivors through housing, food, and core needs. This full-time onsite role works within the NEXT STEP HOTEL Program to provide trauma-informed advocacy and flexible client assistance, including hotel/motel vouchers.

Responsibilities include intake, safety planning, and coordination with partners, with a focus on Black and African American survivors and continued education

Qualifications

• Experience advocating for survivors of domestic violence or related harm.
• Experience with housing/shelter services for survivors.
• Ability to travel between multiple work sites within a day.

Responsibilities

• Process hotel invoices and build relationships with community hotels.
• Provide crisis intervention, assessment, and ongoing case management for survivors.
• Respond to referrals and calls within required time frame.
• Conduct intakes for eligibility and support needs.
• Collect reporting and quarterly narratives using data.
• Develop and maintain relations with community partners.
