Job summary

Safe Alliance in Charlotte, NC seeks a Hotline Advocate to provide crisis intervention, intake, assessment, and referrals via hotline and chat. You will coordinate client care with partners, maintain confidential records, and support families impacted by violence using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.

Required: High School Diploma or GED; experience with victims or in human services preferred; Spanish speaking preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Experience working with victims or in human services preferred.
• Spanish-speaking ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake, assessment, crisis intervention, and referrals.
• Offer parent support and education to callers via hotline and chat.
• Maintain confidential and accurate client and program records in agency databases.
• Coordinate with community partners to ensure coordinated client care.
• Serve as On-Call Advocate for holidays per calendar year.
• Contribute to quality assurance and program procedures as assigned.
