Job summary

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is seeking a Receptionist for our Danvers, MA site. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff, support admissions, and help maintain a safe, organized front desk in a healthcare setting.

The role requires prior healthcare or behavioral health experience, resilience when helping individuals in distress, and the ability to communicate clearly. Per diem evening shifts from 4pm to 11pm, with Narcan training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional medical/behavioral health admin training preferred.
• Prior healthcare, behavioral health, or SUD treatment experience required.
• Minimum 1 year in receptionist/administrative/front desk role preferred.
• Comfort interacting with individuals experiencing withdrawal or distress.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HIPAA and patient confidentiality knowledge.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and guests with empathy and professionalism.
• Facilitate admissions and check‑in for individuals who may be intoxicated or distressed.
• Administer Narcan in emergencies as trained.
• Answer and route incoming calls with urgency and clarity.
• Support interview and appointment check-in and directions.
• Manage mail, packages, and deliveries per facility procedures.
• Maintain a tidy, organized front desk and lobby reflecting RCA standards.
