Preferred Behavioral Health Group seeks a Family Intervention Specialist for its Intercept program in Toms River, NJ. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based interventions to youth and families involved with child protection and other services.

Responsibilities include home and community visits, carrying a small caseload, and coordinating with CP&P/CSOC. A master’s in a related field is preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus with a $1,000 incentive.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred; or bachelor’s degree in social services with one year of related counseling/case management experience.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for families in involved systems to support intervention development and child stability.
• Carry a small caseload of 5 families and provide home and community-based sessions.
• Attend trainings and supervision, implement feedback, and follow ethical and legal guidelines.
