Job summary

Safe Haven Family Shelter is seeking a Community Hub Navigator to assist families at the Community Services Hub. You will greet families, conduct intake, determine eligibility, and connect them with Safe Haven programs and community resources.

This role supports accurate documentation and collaborative teamwork with Hub Manager and other staff. Ideal candidates bring strong communication, organizational skills, and a calm, trauma-informed approach while handling sensitive information and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in social services or related roles preferred.
• Ability to stay calm and solution-focused under stress.
• Experience with eligibility screening or intake processes preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce and HMIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome families at the hub in person or by phone.
• Coordinate programming and manage front desk/check-in.
• Prepare spaces for partners, staff, and families.
• Conduct intake assessments including demographics and needs.
• Review information to determine program eligibility.
• Enter client data into Salesforce and HMIS.
• Maintain intake records and assist with monthly reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in staff meetings.
• Adhere to agency policies and ethics.
