Job summary

Five Keys is seeking a dedicated teacher to deliver CCSS-aligned instruction across core subjects in a trauma-informed environment. The role supports diverse learners and requires collaboration with special education staff to ensure inclusive instruction.

The position involves hybrid learning strategies, data-driven planning, and ongoing professional development within the Five Keys San Bernardino Program.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California teaching credential for K-12 education.
• Preferred: Single Subject credential; acceptable: Multiple Subject credential.
• Ability to work with trauma-informed practices in a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Teach CCSS-aligned courses in their subject area (science, math, English, social studies, etc.).
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support students and differentiate instruction.
• Maintain classroom management to ensure a safe learning space.
• Collaborate with special education staff to include students needing extra support.
• Provide instruction in varied settings (one-on-one, small group, whole class).
• Keep student records up to date and prepare progress reports monthly.
