Job summary

Five Keys seeks a dedicated Teacher to join the San Francisco Programs, reporting to the Principal. You will create an equitable classroom environment, deliver CCSS-aligned instruction, assess student progress, and tailor curricula to a diverse student body.

The role supports a trauma-informed approach and emphasizes collaboration with families and staff. Responsibilities include daily instruction, data-driven planning, maintaining records, and contributing to a culture of high expectations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid K-12 California Teaching Credential (preliminary or clear).
• Preferred: Single Subject K-12 Credential; Acceptable: Multiple Subject Credential.
• Trauma-informed approach and ability to engage diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach CCSS-aligned courses in core subjects and electives.
• Use trauma-informed practices to support student success.
• Engage in data-driven cycles to inform planning and personalize instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to support students in need.
• Maintain student records and ensure confidentiality.
• Provide differentiated instruction and maintain positive classroom culture.
• Travel to multiple sites as needed and vary schedule with site requirements.
