Job summary

The Domestic Violence Counselor role at YWCA North Central Indiana delivers trauma-informed, survivor-centered individual and group counseling to survivors of domestic violence. The counselor collaborates with the Domestic Violence Team, clinical staff, and community partners to support safety, healing, stability, and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Licensure as LCSW/LMHC/LMFT preferred or pursuing licensure.
• Training in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed individual counseling to survivors.
• Facilitate group counseling and psychoeducational sessions.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and reporting.
