Job summary

Fosterful seeks Direct Care Staff to provide 24-hour care for children 0–18 at the GRC Home in Southwest Washington. The role requires moving between floors, documenting accurately, and maintaining safety across shifts.

Compensation starts at $22/hour and can reach $25/hour for overnight and on-call shifts. Reporting to the Program Manager, you'll implement each child’s plans, support trauma-informed care, and ensure compliance with DCYF timelines while upholding cultural respect and safety

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or higher education pathway.
• Strong written communication and cultural competency essential.
• Driver license and up-to-date auto liability insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, hands-on supervision for all children on shift with required staffing ratios.
• Navigate multi-level home safely, assist during emergencies and evacuations.
• Maintain detailed, accurate shift records and EHR notes; complete incident reports as needed.
• Deliver trauma-informed care with warmth, patience, and respect for each child.
• Complete required pre-service and ongoing training; maintain certifications and immunizations.
• Assist with housekeeping, meals, inventory, and daily routines to support a safe home.
