YWCA Northeast Kansas is seeking a dedicated Crisis Case Manager to support clients at the Center for Safety and Empowerment (CSE). You will respond to walk-ins, provide immediate crisis intervention, safety planning, and connect survivors to essential services while maintaining confidentiality and trauma-informed care.

The role involves coordinating with community partners, assisting with protective orders, and offering ongoing advocacy to help survivors transition to longer-term supports

Formación

• Degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within service areas.
• Excellent communication and ability to engage individuals in crisis.
• Commitment to racial equity and social justice.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary responder for walk-in clients, providing crisis intervention and safety planning.
• Provide survivor-centered advocacy and emotional support to victims/survivors.
• Assist clients with protective orders and educate on legal processes.
• Respond to hotline calls and referrals for crisis services.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify safety concerns and stabilization needs.
• Provide referrals to shelter, housing, medical, legal, and community resources.
• Maintain a stabilization-focused caseload with short-term case management and follow-up.
