Job summary

Connected Wellness Group, a Virginia private practice in Norfolk, seeks a licensed therapist or Resident in Counseling for in-person trauma-informed care in a collaborative team.

We offer competitive full-time, W-2 employment with supervision for residents, weekly supervision hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including malpractice insurance, CE stipend, and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients easily.
• Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team.
• Understanding of diagnostic criteria and the impact of trauma.
• Curiosity and a desire to learn and grow in your career.

Responsibilities

• Complete 26 client sessions a week in full-time positions; more if desired.
• Provide on-site clinical psychotherapy per policies and ethical practices.
• Maintain written documentation (intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, etc.) within 24–72 hours of sessions.
• Attend staff meetings and/or trainings as necessary.
• Communicate with the client's treatment team as needed.
• Maintain an unrestricted VA license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCP) in Virginia.
