Job summary

SOME (So Others Might Eat) in Washington, DC, seeks a Clinical Clinician to deliver trauma-informed mental health interventions for survivors of gun violence within Conway Behavioral Health Services. You will assess, treat, and coordinate care with SOME care teams and external partners.

Requires a Master’s Degree and 1+ year relevant experience; DC licensure (LGSW) and CPR/BLS are required. Hybrid schedule, Mon-Fri, 8:30–4:30, with grant-based funding and potential renewal.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; 1+ year experience in mental health interventions.
• Preferred: MSW; LICSW/LPC in DC; 3+ years in diagnostic assessments and trauma-informed therapy.
• DC LGSW license required; BLS/ CPR & AED provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and clinical interventions for survivors of gun violence.
• Coordinate care with client’s care teams and community partners.
• Maintain clinical notes within 1 business day; participate in case reviews and supervision.
