Job summary

Compass Family Services seeks a Clinical Program Director to lead Compass Behavioral Health Services (CBHS). You will provide clinical oversight, supervise therapists and supervisors, and ensure integration of behavioral health into Compass Family Services.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, staff development, and collaboration with partners. Ideal candidates have CA-licensed LCSW/LMFT, 2+ years of clinical supervision, 3+ years in program management, and experience with Medi-Cal billing.

Qualifications

• Active LCSW or LMFT credential in CA in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of clinical supervision experience
• Minimum 3 years of program management experience
• Experience supervising teams
• Knowledge of diagnosis, terminology and records
• Experience with behavioral health services including crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
• Experience with program implementation and project management
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with low-income or unhoused populations
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and direct supervision for Clinical Supervisors and Therapist IIs, ensuring BBS compliance
• Serve as the clinical expert for trauma-informed consultation
• Lead development of Medi-Cal billing pathways for CBHS startups
• Oversee day-to-day program operations and staff development
• Represent CBHS to external partners and funders to build collaboration
• Manage grant compliance and program reporting including monthly board & funder updates
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and evaluation teams to steward the program budget and Salesforce workflows
