Job summary

GRO Community in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Clinical Assessor to provide structured clinical consultations and comprehensive evaluations using CANS, OYAS, and ORAS tools. The role requires collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor to inform individualized service plans and maintain rigorous documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or related field required.
• IM+CANS Certification required at hire or within one month.
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required.
• Experience with standardized assessment tools (CANS, OYAS, ORAS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured clinical interviews and complete standardized assessments to determine service needs and eligibility.
• Collect psychosocial, behavioral, and functional information to support care planning.
• Document findings and submit assessments in a timely manner.
• Maintain weekly productivity and submit performance data.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors and Medical Admin to ensure high-quality client care.
• Attend supervision sessions, team meetings, and trainings.
• Comply with organization policies, ethics, and HIPAA requirements.
• Stay up-to-date on medical/behavioral health diagnoses and treatments.
• Work to meet timelines in a fast-paced independent environment.
