Saint John’s Program for Real Change in Sacramento, CA seeks a Client Service Coordinator to oversee client flow, facility operations, and transportation needs. This on-site role is full-time/part-time with a competitive hourly wage and requires strong communication and teamwork to support trauma-informed, gender-responsive services.

The position includes monitoring clients, maintaining logs, responding to emergencies, ensuring safety, conducting drug tests, and coordinating daily shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.
• Effective written and spoken communication.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Must recognize signs of substance use disorders and respond appropriately within 30 days of hire.
• Californian driver’s license and proof of insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of program clients, and facility operations and transportation needs.
• Monitor clients during shift: counts, check-in/out, and visitor clearance.
• Maintain a daily activity log including incidents of safety concerns.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and coordinate with admin, law enforcement, or medical personnel.
• Maintain safety and security of the facility and keys during shift.
• Conduct random and requested drug tests for clients; document shift handoffs and logs.
