Job summary

The Road Home in Utah is seeking an MVP Client Engagement Specialist to be the first point of contact for new clients at the MVP Resource Center. You will coordinate intakes, provide basic necessities, and offer compassionate, trauma-informed support as clients work toward housing stability.

This in-person role requires travel between resource centers and shelters, strong problem-solving, accurate data entry, and a respectful, equity-driven approach to all clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with diverse and/or vulnerable populations preferred.
• Administrative experience: data entry, clerical tasks, and data organization preferred.
• Direct service experience with homelessness or vulnerable populations preferred.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills (including Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MVP intake tracking and referrals with the Supervisor.
• Complete client intakes and ensure accuracy and data entry.
• Assist with communication to external partners via email, phone, and Teams.
• Support housing navigation and funding eligibility discussions for new clients.
• Maintain confidential client files and coordinate across departments.
• Provide trauma-informed client support and advocacy to housing stability efforts.
