Job summary

Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Children’s Behavioral Health Case Manager to deliver trauma-informed care and skills training to youth (3-17) and families across Amarillo and surrounding areas. This role offers a path in a supportive, multidisciplinary team and is ideal for graduates seeking direct clinical experience.

The position supports a non-profit BH/IDD organization with a focus on community-based care, collaborative planning, and family-centered approaches in a dynamic service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services field.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to use two-factor authentication (2FA) with personal mobile devices as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and professional communications using trauma‑informed language.
• Teach and model skills for youth and families in daily living, coping, and problem solving.
• Provide community-based care in home or community settings (50%+ time).
• Complete documentation within 48 hours of service delivery.
• Collaborate with BH teams to promote skills development.
