Job summary

Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Children’s Behavioral Health Case Manager (1296) to deliver trauma-informed care and skills training to youth (3-17) and families across Borger, Perryton, and surrounding areas. The role involves direct community-based support within a multi-disciplinary team in a non-profit BH/IDD setting.

Ideal candidates hold a related Bachelor’s degree, Texas driver’s license, and are prepared for an entry-to-senior tier based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services field (required for QMHP credentialing).
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience working with youth and families is a strong plus (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical and professional communications using trauma-informed care language.
• Teach and model skills for youth and families in living, social, coping, problem solving, anger management, parenting, and self-control.
• Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care planning and coordination with the care team.
• Deliver direct community-based care (about 50%+ time face-to-face or via phone in home/community settings).
• Collaborate with children’s and adult behavioral health teams to promote skill development.
