Job summary

Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Children’s Behavioral Health Case Manager (1296) to deliver trauma-informed care to youth aged 3-17 and families across Borger, Perryton, and surrounding areas. This role focuses on direct clinical support within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include ethical communications, teaching daily living skills, organizing culturally competent care, conducting assessments, and supporting treatment planning with substantial field time in home and community

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required for QMHP credentialing.
Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
At least 18 years of age.
Graduate-level coursework may substitute for up to 1 year of required experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain ethical and professional communications using trauma-informed language.
Teach and model skills for community living, social, coping, problem solving, anger management, parenting, and self-control.
Train in TRR curricula with evidence-based practices to improve daily functioning.
Organize culturally competent care activities and collaborate among participants involved in the youth’s care.
Conduct assessment and treatment planning; engage families and provide outreach.
Provide direct, community-based care (50%+ face-to-face or via phone).
Collaborate with children’s and adult behavioral health teams to promote skills development.
Adhere to the Code of Conduct and report concerns if standards are compromised.
