Job summary

Children’s Research Triangle (CRT) is hiring a full-time Child & Family Therapist to deliver trauma-informed therapy to children and their families. The role spans CRT’s Loop clinic and community partner sites across Chicagoland and south suburbs. 40 hours weekly with annual salary $55,000–$65,000.

The ideal candidate has experience in clinical and community settings, works from a relational, trauma-informed perspective, and collaborates with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s or Doctoral degree in a mental health field.
• Two+ years clinical experience; licensure preferred.
• Experience with children and families in clinical/community settings; school/home work a plus.
• Trauma-informed treatment, child development, and attachment knowledge.
• Experience with biopsychosocial assessments and clinical interviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, dyadic, and family therapy.
• Conduct clinical assessments using interviews, observations, and standardized measures.
• Use measurement-informed care to monitor outcomes.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans with client goals and interventions.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and data entry.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and other systems to deliver services.
• Participate in clinical supervision and reflective consultation.
• Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers and professionals.
