Job summary

Hawthorn Children’s Psychiatric Hospital in St. Louis, MO is hiring a full-time clinician in the Social Service Department to deliver individual, group, and family therapy for youth, and to manage cases across inpatient and residential programs.

The role reports to the Residential Treatment Coordinator and Chief of Clinical Services, with an 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule, occasional evenings; Missouri licensure required or pursued; supportive benefits and a collaborative, trauma-informed care

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work from an accredited university.
• Missouri LMSW or LCSW licensure required or to be pursued during employment.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapies such as DBT and CBT; trauma-informed care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy for children and adolescents ages 6–18.
• Provide case management within inpatient and residential programs.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and report to Residential Treatment Coordinator and Chief of Clinical Services.
• Support scheduling that may include one evening per week to accommodate families.
