Qualifications

• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to commence duties within five calendar days of acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of activity techniques for developing social skills, responsibility, and initiative; helps clients cope with problems and adapt to situations.
• Introduces new activities, special events, and outings to provide variety.
• Has knowledge of individual and group behavior and effective ways of working with clients.
• Has basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Assists in escorting consumers to and from activity areas.
• Manages activity funds, charts client attendance and participation, and handles setup/cleanup of activities.
• Ability to drive the facility vehicles.
• Establishes and maintains client interest and participation in activities.
