Job summary

Every Child’s Hope in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a licensed mental health clinician to provide assessment and individual/group psychotherapy for youth aged 10-18 in our residential program.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document for billing, develop treatment plans, and provide monthly progress summaries while maintaining trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care and licensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or family therapy.
• Missouri clinical license or registration (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or provisional LMSW/PLPC under supervision.
• Minimum 1 year of experience providing therapy to children and families.
• Experience in residential treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial assessment of the child’s mental health functioning and assessment of trauma history.
• Provide individual psychotherapy sessions to the child as part of their treatment program.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team and attend meetings to facilitate continuity of care.
• Maintain communication with ECH Case Manager, family therapist, and other treatment team members for each child.
• Complete therapy progress notes in a timely manner for billing within the designated time frame.
• Conduct initial treatment assessments and develop treatment plans; provide summaries during team meetings; provide court reports when requested.
• Provide monthly summaries at Service Plan Review Meetings of goals and outcomes.
• Maintain trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, client-responsive care delivery.
• Meet licensure and training requirements, including annual trainings.
• Serve as on-call clinician on a rotating basis with the team.
