Job summary

On-site with possible remote days, the role involves managing caseloads, attending court, and collaborating with social workers, youth, and families. Strong communication, trauma-informed practice, and Sanctuary Model experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with families and adolescents in the child welfare system.
• Ability to establish working relationships with participants in need of supportive services.
• Knowledge of Sanctuary Model principles and ACS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain primary case planning responsibility for 16-20 cases with the social worker.
• Establish initial contact with families to provide program information.
• Conduct required casework contacts with child, parent and collateral contacts.
• Collaborate with the social worker on assessment-based referrals.
• Attend court and permanency hearings.
• Maintain up-to-date case records and agency documentation.
• Submit reports such as FASPs and Permanency Hearing on time.
• Develop permanency plans emphasizing lasting family connections.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and relevant reviews.
