Job summary

Southwest Behavioral Care Inc- CRR - Monessen is seeking a Team Leader to help supervise licensed and non-licensed program activities and coordinate Direct Support Professionals and related staff to ensure required services are delivered. The role supports staffing, census management, and regulatory compliance in a residential setting.

The position emphasizes trauma-informed, recovery-focused, integrated care with opportunities for staff development and clinical oversight.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, or a bachelor’s with 2 years mental health direct care experience.
• High School Diploma with 10 years mental health direct care experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of governmental program regulations and policies.
• Ability to observe and obtain vital information during client/family interviews and case record reviews.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, providers, and agencies.
• Must obtain Criminal History Clearance from PA State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from DHS, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
• Must not be excluded from Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal health care program

Responsibilities

• Maintains a caseload proportionate to supervisory ratio and provides billable case management to consumers.
• Fill vacant shifts and manage health and safety of residents.
• Review and analyze staff work related to service delivery.
• Participate in staff development and training on trauma-informed, recovery-focused care and supervision techniques.
• Submit release of service-related correspondence and prepare program reports in line with standards.
• Provide technical assistance to program staff.
• Participate in residential on-call rotation.
• Conduct ongoing utilization reviews for managed care standards.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Adhere to policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality

Education

Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field
