Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a MRSS provider to deliver immediate, trauma-informed crisis care in community settings such as home or school. You will work with youth and families, offering in-person or telehealth support and collaboration with clinical staff to ensure safety and stabilization.

The role emphasizes culturally responsive practice, rapid response to dispatches, and documentation aligned with Medicaid and agency standards. Flexibility with locations and schedules is required.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or minimum of three years of experience in behavioral health setting working with youth and families.
  • Must meet QBHS qualifications per Ohio Administrative Code.
  • Experience working in youth-serving systems (e.g. behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice).

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate OhioGuidestone values and operate with excellence, integrity and ethics.
  • Respond to MRSS dispatch calls and provide in-person or telehealth support.
  • Manage mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner and support clients.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to assess crisis situations and develop stabilization plans.
  • Assist families in identifying supports and navigating community services.
  • Provide psychoeducation, behavioral coaching, and skill-building for youth and caregivers.
  • Maintain timely documentation in compliance with Medicaid and agency regulations.
  • Participate in supervision and training to maintain MRSS fidelity.
