Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed care is desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community outreach, screen clients for mental health, substance use, housing, and other needs.
• Utilize a strengths-based approach with a trauma-informed de-escalation method.
• Assist clients in identifying service options and referrals to programs.
• Advocate for clients with other HFS programs, police, courts, hospitals, and community stakeholders.
• Enter collected data into the database and schedule intake/follow-up appointments.
