Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) in Charlotte seeks a skilled RN to coordinate comprehensive patient care for trauma and surgical patients in a 32-bed unit. You will work within established standards, policies, and procedures to ensure safe, therapeutic care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS Required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
